Berlins Jobcenter kürzen Bürgergeld im Schnitt um 62 Euro im Monat

Bundesweit haben Jobcenter im aktuellsten Berichtsmonat (April) bei 33.752 Bürgergeld-Empfängern erneut den Rotstift angesetzt. Dabei kam jeder neunte Betroffene aus Berlin.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
