Jobcenter dürfen wieder Sanktionen verhängen

Mit Empörung reagiert der Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband auf eine aktuelle Weisung der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, nach der Jobcenter ab sofort grundsätzlich wieder Sanktionen gegen Hartz IV-Beziehende verhängen dürfen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
