Der Chef der Arbeitsagentur spricht sich dafür aus, Vermögen und Wohnung bei Hartz IV länger unangetastet zu lassen. Einen Anstieg der Grundsicherung sieht Detlef Scheele jedoch nur mit Vorsicht.

Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
