DGB unterstützt Referentenentwurf zur Grundrente

Der DGB befürwortet den Referentenentwurf für ein Gesetz zur Grundrente ohne Bedürftigkeitsprüfung, den das Bundesarbeitsministerium Ende Mai vorgelegt hat. Die Einführung der Grundrente dulde keinen Aufschub.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
