Hubertus Heil: Arbeit statt Grundeinkommen

Bei der Haushaltsdebatte im Bundestag hat sich Arbeitsminister Heil zur Zukunft des Sozialsystems geäußert: Es müsse „wieder enger geknüpft werden“, um Abstiegsängste abzubauen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
