Der Arbeitskräftebedarf verharrt auf niedrigem Niveau

Das gesamtwirtschaftliche Stellenangebot beläuft sich im ersten Quartal 2026 insgesamt auf 1,15 Millionen Stellen. Damit liegt die Zahl der offenen Stellen um 23.800 oder rund 2 Prozent niedriger als noch vor einem Jahr.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
