4,1 % mehr Empfängerinnen und Empfänger von Grundsicherung im Alter und bei Erwerbsminderung

Von Ende 2023 bis Ende 2024 stieg ausschließlich die Empfängerzahl bei der Grundsicherung im Alter, während die Zahl der Empfängerinnen und -empfänger von Grundsicherung bei Erwerbsminderung konstant blieb.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
