Ein Blick auf die Grundsicherungsquoten im Dezember 2023 im Bund, in den Ländern und in den beiden bremischen Städten (Bremen und Bremerhaven) vor und nach Berücksichtigung der Ergebnisse des Zensus 2022.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
