Wo Beschäftigte aus Syrien am Arbeitsmarkt fehlen würden

Fast eine Million Syrer leben in Deutschland, rund 30 Prozent von ihnen arbeiten hierzulande. Welche Folgen hätte es für den Arbeitsmarkt, wenn sie Deutschland wieder verlassen würden?

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
