Arbeitslosengeld-II-, Sozialgeld- und Bürgergeld-Ausgaben 2010 bis Juni 2024 und „Soll-Ausblick 2025“

Der Regierungsentwurf des Bundeshaushalts 2025 ist mit einem Soll in Höhe von 25,0 Milliarden Euro beschlossen worden – 4,7 Milliarden Euro (15,8 Prozent) weniger als das im Regierungsentwurf des Nachtragshaushalts erwartete Ist 2024.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
