Soziale Absicherung für Plattformarbeit

Im Jahr 2025 wird es in der EU rund 43 Millionen Plattformbeschäftigte geben, also Menschen, die über digitale Plattformarbeit ihr Geld verdienen. Diese Zahlen nennt die Bundesregierung in einer Antwort auf eine Kleine Anfrage der Gruppe Die Linke.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
