Noch sind mehr Flüchtlinge im Bürgergeld als in Arbeit. Aber der Sonderbeauftragte der Regierung sieht Fortschritte. Eine neue Studie zeigt: Viele Betriebe öffnen sich für Bewerber, die wenig Deutsch können.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
