Kommunen protestieren gegen Jobcenter-Reform

Junge Menschen, die Bürgergeld beziehen, sollen künftig von der Agentur für Arbeit betreut werden und nicht mehr von den Jobcentern. Gegen diese Pläne der Bundesregierung regt sich Widerstand. Kommunen sehen bewährte Strukturen in Gefahr.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
