Bundesregierung muss Bildungs(teil)zeit nachliefern

Der Bundesrat hat am 7. Juli das Weiterbildungsgesetz verabschiedet. Die Arbeitskammer Saarland und die Arbeitnehmerkammer Bremen sehen darin gute Ansatzpunkte.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
