Vorbild Österreich: Ausbildungsgarantie als Brücke zu qualifizierter Beschäftigung?

Die neue Bundesregierung plant, eine „Ausbildungsgarantie“ nach österreichischem Vorbild einzuführen. Dort werden rund 8 Prozent aller Auszubildenden auf Staatskosten rein schulisch oder in Zusammenarbeit mit den Betrieben ausgebildet.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
