Für ein Jahr raus aus dem Job, und trotzdem gibt es bis zu 67 Prozent des letzten Nettolohns. So stellt sich Hubertus Heil eine Weiterbildungszeit vor.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
