Die Pandemie gilt als Türöffner für New Work. Dabei sind die eigentlichen Treiber der Zukunft der Arbeit ganz andere. Wer diese gewinnbringend nutzen will, muss seine Fachkräfte weiterbilden.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
