Rückgang der Reallöhne im 1. Quartal 2021 um 2,0 Prozent

Der Einsatz von Kurzarbeit sowie die Geschäftsschließungen aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie führten auch im ersten Quartal 2021 zu einer negativen Lohnentwicklung. Der Hauptgrund liegt vor allem in der Verkürzung der Arbeitszeit.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
