Langzeitarbeitslose im April 2021: Bund und Großstädte im Vorjahresvergleich

Im April 2021 wurden 42,3 Prozent mehr Langzeitarbeitslose als im April 2020 registriert. Überdurchschnittlich stark stieg in diesem Zeitraum die Zahl der registrierten Langzeitarbeitslosen in den 15 Großstädten.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
