Die Zwei-Masken-Gesellschaft

Selten war die Ungleichbehandlung im medizinischen Schutz offensichtlicher: Menschen mit wenig Geld können sich verlässliche Masken kaum leisten. Der Staat sollte sie kostenlos ausgeben – oder die Hilfssätze erhöhen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
