Arbeitslosengeld-II- und Sozialgeld-Ausgaben bis November 2020 – Soll-Ist-Vergleich

Im laufenden Haushaltsjahr 2020 werden für Arbeitslosengeld II und Sozialgeld weit mehr als fünf Milliarden der im Bundeshaushalt veranschlagten 26,4 Milliarden Euro nicht (für diese Zweckbestimmung) ausgegeben.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
