Deutschlands Erfolgsmodell Kurzarbeit ist nur noch Mittelmaß

In der Finanzkrise galt Deutschland als Musterbeispiel für erfolgreiche Krisenbewältigung. Inzwischen haben viele Länder das Modell kopiert und verbessert. Besonders an einem Punkt wird es für den deutschen Arbeitsmarkt jetzt sogar gefährlich.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
