Auswirkungen der Corona-Krise bei geleisteten Arbeitsstunden und Entgelten weiterhin sichtbar

Wie das Statistische Bundesamt (Destatis) nach vorläufigen Ergebnissen mitteilt, ging die Zahl der Beschäftigten gegenüber September 2019 um 3,0 % zurück. Im Vergleich zum August 2020 stieg die Zahl der Beschäftigten allerdings leicht an (+0,2 %).

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
