Beschäftige in Minijobs sind VerliererInnen der coronabedingten Rezession

Die Corona-Krise hat für viele geringfügig Beschäftigte, die sogenannten MinijobberInnen, gravierende Folgen. Das zeigt eine aktuelle Studie des Deutschen Instituts für Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW Berlin).

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
