Mündet die Pandemie in einer Integrationskrise?

Das Coronavirus und seine Folgen treffen die Menschen unterschiedlich hart. Die OECD warnt nun davor, dass erreichte Fortschritte in der Integration zunichte gemacht werden. Es brauche nun ein starkes Signal.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
