Die Hälfte verdient weniger als das Medianentgelt

Rund 10,8 Millionen Vollzeitbeschäftigte der Kerngruppe haben 2019 ein Bruttomonatsentgelt unterhalb des bundesweiten Medianentgelts (3.401 Euro) erzielt. Das schreibt die Bundesregierung in ihrer Antwort auf eine Kleine Anfrage der AfD-Fraktion.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
