Regelsätze für Grundsicherung und Sozialhilfe steigen

Das Bundeskabinett hat am 19.08.2020 den „Entwurf eines Gesetzes zur Ermittlung von Regelbedarfen und zur Änderung des Zwölften Buches Sozialgesetzbuch sowie des Asylbewerberleistungsgesetzes“ beschlossen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
