Nur wenige Arbeitslose beziehen Arbeitslosengeld – ein Ländervergleich 2007-2019

Im vergangenen Jahr 2019 hatten durchschnittlich lediglich 27,7 Prozent der registrierten Arbeitslosen Anspruch auf das beitragsfinanzierte Arbeitslosengeld nach dem Sozialgesetzbuch Drittes Buch (SGB III).

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
