Berlin fordert vom Bund eine Änderung der Sanktionsregelungen für Hartz-IV-Leistungsberechtigte

Der Berliner Senat bringt einen Entschließungsantrag in den Bundesrat ein, der Sanktionen für junge Erwachsene unter 25 Jahren sowie für Bedarfsgemeinschaften mit Kindern und Jugendlichen ausschließen soll.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
