Junge Arbeitnehmerinnen trifft die Krise am härtesten

Laut einer Umfrage sind knapp ein Fünftel der jungen Menschen weltweit wegen der Coronakrise arbeitslos. Besonders hart treffen die Folgen der Pandemie demnach Frauen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
