Sondergutachten 2020: Die gesamtwirtschaftliche Lage angesichts der Corona-Pandemie

Angesichts der erheblichen wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen der Corona-Pandemie hat der Sachverständigenrat am 30. März 2020 ein Sondergutachten veröffentlicht, das er am 23. März 2020 der Bundesregierung vorgelegt hatte.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
