Soforthilfeprogramm für freischaffende Künstlerinnen und Künstler

Der Senat hat am 31. März 2020 ein neues „Sofortprogramm zur Unterstützung freischaffender Künstlerinnen und Künstler aufgrund der Auswirkungen der Coronavirus-Krise“ beschlossen. Dieses ist mit 500.000 Euro dotiert.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
