Nach Informationen, die dem Paritätischen Wohlfahrtsverband vorliegen, sollen wider Erwarten soziale Dienste nicht unter den neuen Corona-Schutzschirm fallen, der am Montag im Kabinett beschlossen wird.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
