Applaus vom Balkon reicht nicht

Nicht nur Banken, sondern auch Krankenhäuser, Stadtreinigungen und Supermärkte sind systemrelevant. Ohne Intensivpflegerinnen, Lkw-Fahrer, Müllmänner und Rettungssanitäterinnen würde unser System nicht funktionieren. Ohne sie würde Chaos ausbrechen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
