Hartz-IV-Rückforderungen kosten mehr als sie einbringen

Zu viel überwiesene Hartz-IV-Leistungen werden zurückgefordert. Dahinter verbirgt sich bei Beträgen unter 100 Euro oft ein Minus-Geschäft. Die Linke fordert eine Bagatellgrenze.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
