Jobcenter sparen eine Milliarde Euro bei Förderung von Langzeitarbeitslosen

Bei der Förderung von Langzeitarbeitslosen wurde auch 2019 wieder viel weniger ausgegeben als geplant. Kritiker beklagen, dass viele Erwerbslose keine Weiterbildungsangebote oder andere Fördermaßnahmen absolvieren dürfen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
