Zahl der „Neu-Arbeitslosen“ steigt deutlich

888.000 Menschen haben im Januar Arbeitslosengeld I bezogen. Dies sind deutlich mehr als im Vorjahr. Die Linkspartei wirft dem Arbeitsminister vor, die Lage am Arbeitsmarkt schönzureden.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
