Langzeitarbeitslose wieder in Lohn und Brot

Im vergangenen Jahr waren mehr als 727.000 Menschen langzeitarbeitslos. Mit dem Teilhabechancengesetz wollte die Bundesregierung 150.000 eine neue Perspektive geben. Die Deutsche Bahn hat einige von ihnen eingestellt.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
