Weltweit 2,5 Millionen mehr Arbeitslose

Nach neun Jahren Stabilität wird die weltweite Arbeitslosigkeit 2020 erstmals wieder steigen. Wegen des geringen Wachstums der Weltwirtschaft erwartet die Weltarbeitsorganisation ILO 2,5 Millionen mehr Erwerbslose.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
