Ausgaben für Arbeitslosengeld (SGB III) von 2012 bis 2019

Im Haushaltsjahr 2019 wurden von der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) für das beitragsfinanzierte Arbeitslosengeld bei Arbeitslosigkeit erstmals seit 2014 mehr als 15 Milliarden Euro ausgegeben.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
