Erster Beschäftigungsrückgang gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat seit Dezember 2010

Die Zahl der Beschäftigten nahm gegenüber Oktober 2018 um 9 000 ab (-0,2 %). Damit gab es im verarbeitenden Gewerbe erstmals seit Dezember 2010 wieder einen leichten Rückgang der Beschäftigten zum Vorjahresmonat.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
