Abkehr von Hartz IV beschlossen

Die Bremer Bürgerschaft nimmt den rot-grün-roten Antrag an: Der Senat soll sich beim Bund dafür einsetzen, das System der Grundsicherung zu ändern. Kritik kam von der CDU.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
