Der Wuppertaler Kreis als der Verband der führenden Weiterbildungsdienstleister der Wirtschaft veröffentlicht regelmäßig Mitte des Jahres eine Trendstudie zur betrieblichen Weiterbildung.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
