Die CDU tut so, als stünde der Sozialismus vor der Tür. Was würde Grün-Rot-Rot ändern? Einiges. Doch radikal wäre so ein Linksbündnis nicht.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
