Drei von vier Sanktionen entfallen auf Terminversäumnisse

Die Jobcenter mussten im letzten Jahr 904.000 Sanktionen gegen erwerbsfähige Leistungsberechtigte aussprechen. Die Zahl der Leistungsminderungen ist damit im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 49.000 gesunken.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
