Rider sollen künftig direkt bei Essenslieferdiensten beschäftigt werden, nicht mehr bei Subunternehmern. Vorbild ist eine Regelung aus der Fleischindustrie.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
