Frauen machen häufiger höhere Schulabschlüsse

Bei schulischer und beruflicher Bildung schneiden junge Frauen oft besser ab als junge Männer. Dieser Gender Education Gap zeigt sich unter anderem bei Schulabschlüssen und bei Abschlussquoten an Hochschulen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
