Migration: Arbeitskräfte aus den neuen EU-Ländern kehren zurück

Seit 2024 kehren deutlich mehr Personen in die neuen EU-Mitgliedsländer zurück als zuwandern. Zugleich ist die Zahl der Asylanträge stark gesunken, zeigt eine Studie des Instituts der deutschen Wirtschaft (IW).

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
