1,62 Millionen Alleinerziehende mit minderjährigen Kindern leben in Deutschland

Der Großteil der Alleinerziehenden ist nach wie vor weiblich. Im Jahr 2025 gab es 1,37 Millionen alleinerziehende Mütter. Damit waren mehr als vier von fünf (84,4 %) Alleinerziehende mit Kindern unter 18 Jahren Frauen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
