Bis 2036 fehlen 4,3 Millionen Arbeitskräfte

Bis 2036 erreichen weit mehr Babyboomer das Rentenalter, als junge Menschen ins Erwerbsalter nachrücken. Am Ende fehlt ein Potenzial von mehr als vier Millionen Arbeitskräften, zeigt eine neue Studie des Instituts der deutschen Wirtschaft (IW).

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
